Application: Metering of either large or small aggregate bulk filler material for continuous casting of polymer concrete products.
The Polymer Concrete Ground Hopper is generally used in conjunction with Gruber Systems’ Autocaster Ultra/PC (Polymer Concrete) continuous casting system or other systems. Ground Hoppers provide a longer term supply of fillers to the metering hoppers mounted on top of the Autocaster system - so that the continuous casting capability of the Autocaster is not interrupted by the need to resupply the metering hoppers.
Shown at right are two Gruber Systems' Polymer Concrete Ground Hoppers, supplying a Gruber Systems' Autocaster Ultra/PC (Polymer Concrete) continuous casting system with Aggregate Bulk Fillers. Each filler supply in turn keeps the metering hoppers on the top of the Autocaster continuously supplied with aggregate to enable continous operation of the casting system.

For lightweight powders such as Calcium Carbonate blends or ATH blends, choose from our Standard Auger-driven Ground Hopper, or a Pneumatic Transport Ground Hopper that offers some advantages over the auger-driven model.
