Eliminate air while blending solid surface matrix with a Gruber Vacuum Mixer! The GS1700 vacuum mixer is our best value vacuum mixer, and largest capacity vacuum mixer. It features a powerful 3 HP motor, and large mixing capacity of 375 pounds (170 kg) - or 28 gallons (106 liters) of solid surface material. The GS1700 uses a pneumatic boom and mixing arm that raises up and swings out of the way to give the larger pot more room to be lifted up with a bridge crane or gantry.
Like all Gruber Systems' Vacuum Mixers, this unit effectively evacuates air from the matrix during the matrix blending process, to produce void-free cast solid surface products. Vacuum mixed materials are condensed, void-free, durable products that can be fabricated to create popular designs in today's kitchen and bath market.
Features:
-
Powerful 3 horsepower motor and large capacity mixing vessel capable of mixing up to approximately 375 lbs. (170 kg) of solid surface matrix (approximately 28 gallons or 106 liters).
-
Stainless steel mixing pot with a domed bottom and domed lid assembly.
-
The lid assembly is supported by a pneumatic cylinder that is used to raise and lower the assembly. When in the raised position, the lid assembly can be rotated away from the mixing pot to allow for unobstructed access.
-
Pot lifter and ring included for use with a hoist and gantry to assist in the pouring of matrix.
-
Pneumatic boom and mixing arm that raises up and swings out of the way to give the larger pot more room to be lifted up with a bridge crane or gantry.
-
The heavy-duty contoured stainless steel mixing blade is attached to the lid assembly with a twist lock mechanism for quick blade removal and replacement.
-
Available in either 3-phase 50/60 Hz motor or single-phase 50/60 Hz motor configurations.

220V, 60hz and all 50hz models are equipped with a power chord only and would require a plug to match service outlet for testing purposes only. Mixers should be hardwired to an appropriate 30A circuit by a qualified electrician to meet your local electrical codes. Additional controls may be necessary to meet your local regulations. Any additional requirements needed to deem this equipment operational will be obtained by buyer at buyers expense.
